The Xsi Psi Connection

In the year of 1999, Toronto witnessed a "Resurrected Legacy" as Alpha Phi Alpha returned once more to Canadian soil. With no foundation to build on, Brother Orlando Klass, of the Xi Psi Chapter, worked against historical fact of the previous Toronto chapter's demise, to challenge 9 men from Ryerson Polytechnic University and the University of Toronto. Through exceedingly tedious and painstaking efforts, Brother Klass overcame adversity and brought three new members into the light of Alpha. Brothers Nana Brown, Philip August and Ike Okafor crossed the burning sands to enter the realm of Alpha as the first brothers initiated in Canada since 1908. They have continued along this path to lead other men to the light of Alpha and maintain its legacy in a city that has been a part of Alpha since 1908.
